The Best Venue in Perth for a Family Gathering with Kids
School holidays are here, and with them comes the beautiful chaos of family time. Long mornings, little adventures, kids running around, family members visiting, and
Tucci is a place to slow down, spend time with the people you love and take in the beauty of Goolugatup Reserve and the Swan River beyond.
Our menu is inspired by the flavours and traditions of Italy and the wider Mediterranean, where fresh produce, generous plates and time around the table are all part of the experience. Simple, seasonal ingredients are cooked with care and made to be shared.
Some visits begin with lunch and stretch well into the afternoon. Others start with a spritz on the terrace and naturally lead into dinner. There is no need to rush.
Whether it is a midweek lunch, a catch-up with friends or a family gathering by the river, every day brings a reason to come together, settle in and stay a little longer.
As the light softens over the Swan River, the day begins to slow, calling for Aperitivo.
Rooted in Italian tradition, Aperitivo marks the gentle shift from afternoon into evening. It is a time to leave the day behind, gather over a drink with friends and loved ones and share a few small plates before dinner.
At Tucci, Aperitivo brings this Mediterranean ritual to Perth. Settle in with freshly shucked oysters, crumbed Sicilian olives, warm sourdough focaccia, salumi and formaggi made for sharing. Accompanied by your choice of drink from Aperol Spritz, a prosecco, or a Negroni to Limoncello, Campari or Italian wines, Aperitivo Hours invites you to ease into the evening in a deliciously unhurried way.
Every day of the week, from 3:30pm to 5pm, come for a drink, stay for a few plates and let the afternoon unfold. Good food, something cold in your glass and the river out in front.
Wednesday to Friday, Pausa Pranzo invites you to hit pause, step away from the desk and sit down for a proper lunch.
Pausa Pranzo literally translates to “lunch break,” but in Italy it carries a bit more weight than that. It’s the midday pause built into the rhythm of the day, a proper sit-down meal rather than something eaten at your desk. It reflects the broader Mediterranean relationship with food, where every meal is an occasion to relax, gather and connect, a moment made to be shared.
Whether you’re coming for a client meeting, a catch-up with friends or simply a change from eating on the go, the three-course menu features a selection of Tucci favourites, with your choice of a soft drink, tea or coffee included.
Enjoy each course at your own pace, then head back to the day, or stay for another coffee when time allows.
At Tucci, Thursday is a good excuse to get your friends together and ease into the weekend over dinner. The Rump Cap is cooked low and slow until tender, then served with a rich bechamel sauce made for mopping up with bread.
Add a bottle of wine, settle in by the river and take your time catching up around the table. It’s an easy midweek plan that feels a little more special without needing a reason to celebrate.
The Rump Cap is available on Thursdays until sold out, so booking ahead is recommended.
Looking for a Sunday roast near you? It wouldn’t be Sunday without one, especially one shared with family.
Tucci’s whole roast chicken comes to the table golden and juicy, with sides and plenty of jus for everyone to share. Pass the plates around, pour another glass and enjoy the kind of lunch where no one is in a hurry to leave.
It’s an easy way to bring the family together and make a little more of Sunday, not unlike a long Sunday lunch anywhere across the Mediterranean, where the table is where the family gathers, and nobody’s rushing to leave it.
Every day is an occasion to come together.
A weekday Aperitivo, a midweek lunch away from the office, a bottle you have been saving for dinner, or a Sunday roast shared with family and friends.
At Tucci, the everyday moments are always worth gathering for. No special occasion required.
It is simply the Mediterranean way, fresh, shared and unhurried, with the focus on the people around the table rather than the time on the clock.
However you find your way to Tucci, there is always a reason to settle in and stay a little longer.
Book your table today and make one of Tucci’s weekly rituals your own.
